Here is yet another bizarre crime article: The Fire Arts Festival that was held in the 1200 block of Seventh Street is where two women were leaving and returning to their vehicle when they were accosted and robbed. In connection with this robbery and assault one man has been arrested and police are seeking two other people that were involved in the incident. All in all, it seems to me that this story that could easily find itself mentioned on Jay Leno’s stupid criminal segment:
According to reports statements from Police Officer Jason Andersen the women were leaving the Fire Arts Festival at approximately 12:15 a.m. when they were approached and threatened by what has been found to be a toy gun. The women whose identities have not been released other than their ages of 56 and 65. The women were in the 700 block of Union Street when three men that are known of approached them, one man told the 56 year old woman he wanted her backpack while holding a gun. The woman refused, the man grabbed the backpack and the woman was thrown to the ground. As the man reached for the backpack the gun fell, the woman grabbed the gun and at this time realized it was a toy plastic gun. The man commanded that she return the gun, which she did, during the time that this took place another man grabbed the 65 year old woman’s purse and threw her to the ground.

During these events the women were screaming for help and when the robbers left on foot. Two police officers that were in the vicinity of Union Street and 8th Street heard the calls for help. Upon hearing the incident perused the men they had seen walking away from the scene, the two officers have been identified as Officer Michael Mack and Officer David Chapman.
Along with other officers one of the suspects were found in a yard and the backpack was found near by, this man has been identified as Derrick Turner age 39 and he was identified by the victims. Turner was arrested for an alleged two counts of armed robbery.
Alright here is some legal news out of Portland, Oregon just off of the police blotter: 2 Individuals were arrested after a fight that took place in a woman’s front yard in which she was stabbed. More crimes to keep the Portland criminal attorneys busy……
The individuals who were arrested have been identified as Hector Luna Melchor and Diego Rodriguez-Perez, and both of them were arrested after the crime occurred in the front yard of Jeanette Turner’s property located at 3018 Southeast 145th Avenue. The arrest will have them answer to criminal charges in Multnomah County Court.
According to reports Turner along with neighbors and other guests were attending a bonfire in her front yard when the 2 men were walking past Turner’s yard. Someone that was attending Turner’s bonfire made a comment at which time a fight ensued that quickly turned violent when Melchor stabbed Turner.
The fight between Malchor and Rodriguez-Perez and Turner’s guests occurred at about 2:30 in the morning.
The victim was transported to OHSU Hospital in serious condition, it has been released that the wounds were not life threatening.
One of the individuals involved in the fight and witness was a friend of Turner’s from Oregon City that has been identified as David Holton. Other guests and neighbors of Turner’s names have not been released at this time.
The criminal charges the two man will face will require them to have an experienced attorney such as the Portland, felony defense Attorney. All in all, a Washington criminal defense attorney will make sure you are given all your constitutional rights Anything less than an experienced attorney can place them in a position where their sentence is much harsher than if they hired just the right attorney.
An individual who is now in behind bars with a quarter million dollar bail has been named as Darrell Tyrone Guice. He has been charged with robbing a home in the Denver area where he confronted the homeowner and forced her back into the house. Then he began to go through her personal property, after which time he left the residence in the homeowners’ car. The charges that have been filed against Guice include kidnapping, first-degree burglary and grand theft auto, among others. For his sake this guy had better have an expert lawyer…… I live much of the year in San Francisco myself and have never seen anything quite like this. He is also a suspect in another home invasion which occurred around the end of May. There was a similar tactic used in this home invasion where the homeowner was a 57 year old woman. The thief left the home with some of the owner’s personal property. nonetheless, he has yet to be charged for this home invasion as yet. This criminal in question further has a record as reported by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations that dates at least to 1990 when he was found guilty of aggravated robbery (which could have caused major personal injury)and given an 18 year sentence. He has also been arrested for possession of a weapon as an ex-offender. These are all criminal offenses that when a person is charged requires the retaining of an experienced San Francisco Personal Injury lawyer He is ideal if you live in San Francisco and need to obtain a superlative San Francisco Personal Injury lawyer, since they can lead to many years in prison if not represented by a top-drawer lawyer can build an expert case and fight aggressively in court for their client. Including filing appeals when it is necessary to prove their clients innocence’s or receive the best sentence possible for their client.
Looks like someone is going to need an attorney. In 1983 there were 3 killings which all ended with 1 suspect who was involved in the witness protection program since 1981. This individuals who has been suspected in these 3 killings has been identified as Anthony Landis who gained admission inside the witness protection program in when he testified against prison gang members who were planning to murder a prison official. The testimony moved Landis from a Virginia prison to Colorado where he changed his name to Anthony Landis. Then he became a suspect in the grizly killings of Michael Loughrey, Randy Arlin Russom and Michael D. Ray age after Loughrey filed a police report that rifles were stolen from his house and stated to them that he suspected Landis.
After this report Loughrey disappeared and his body was found some 7 months later with personal injury from multiple gunshot wounds.
The other 2 men worked as valets at the restaurant by the name of Bobby Magee’s. In addition, investigators believe that same evening Landis met Michael Ray. The evening both men were killed, Michael Ray was found shot to death at 10150 E. Harvard Avenue in an apartment building parking lot, which was the former residence of Randy Russom. Randy Russom suffered a similar fate about twenty minutes or so afterword when he was shot several times while he was in an automobile. Even though he attempted to get away to safety he was followed and shot another six times at 7395 E. Eastman Avenue at Shadow Woods Condominium Park. Randy Russom was also known to have been carrying $2,300. from a construction job paycheck at the time of his murder.
Investigators found that Landis had connections with meeting all 3 of the men that had been shot and all of the bullets recovered from the men had come from the same weapon in question. Russoms car was found within only 2 blocks of the YMCA where Landis was known to have stayed that night instead of going home to his wife. Crimes like these require the person charged to have a criminal as opposed to a San Francisco Personal Injury Attorney not only for their trial but also for appeals and to assist in parole hearings. It is ideal if you live in San Francisco to have San Francisco Personal Injury Attorney.
Detectives found a box of bullets in Landis home that were the same caliber used in the murders. The gun involved in the crime was found years later in the possession of a prostitute; therefore while it can be tied to the murders it cannot be tied to Landis.
Landis was arrested for the sale of the stereo and charged with habitual criminal charges. Landis has been in prison charged with habitual burglary crimes and serving a life sentence. Prosecutors have waited for Landis to talk to another prisoner about the murders so he could be charged Landis seems to be to prison smart to talk to other inmates about the murders.
According to published news reports, Sam Lincoln said that his addiction to meth was at the root of the problems for the individuals who has been sentenced to a grand total of more than three hundred years behind bars. This is all due to his violent crimes which have unfortunately altered the life path of this twenty-seven year old who as a boy was named the Peach King two seperate times while riding rode at the head of the Palisade’s Peach Festival. What an incredibly sad turnaround his life has really been. His most recent criminal arrest (boy does this guy ever keeps his attorney busy) was an attempted murder charge. The judge in that particular case sentenced him to ninety years for that crime alone. In a court statement he later said that he hopes that this case will be dismissed in the future, but denies any involvement in the crime in question.
The Deputy District Attorney Amy Fitch had asked the court give him the maximum penalty, which was 117 years commenting that this was really one of the worst crimes she had ever seen. Attorney Fitch also said that the accused is simply not fit to live in society.
Meanwhile the accused’ attorney Kathy Gourdy had requested a10 year minimum sentence. By the way if you live in either Miami, Florida or the greater dade County or Miami area and when you or a family member is charged with a criminal offense it takes the expertise of Miami criminal attorney to ensure the case is prepared to your advantage because it can mean your very freedom. David Garvin is certainly one of the top Miami criminal attorney out there, if not the very best. So now back to the story:
There was an earlier conviction where he was charged with attempted murder plus other very serious charges, along with a co-defendant, Lawrence Doty, who was found not guilty of the same incident.
According to Lincoln’s attorney in this March case a witness identified as Sharon Coelho testified and while she was the one who had planned the crime she was granted immunity in lieu of her testimony. It was testified that Doty had more blood on him and was more violent during the crime and he was found not guilty. He was convicted of this particular crime. There was also an incident where the criminal was sentenced to more than two hundred years for shooting at deputies which occurred in Arizona. He has also an incident in Grand Junction where in a high speed chase Lincoln reached speeds of one hundred mph while firing at deputies more than twenty times.
Lincoln’s attorney has said there are several appeals filed and that she believes that he is innocent of some crimes and an innocent man is going to jail. Gourdy also stated that there is some evidence that is very strong that could win new trials for about 3 of his cases.
Oh, here we go again, more bad news from the city. According to reports there have been two suspects arrested in a shooting that took place in east Denver where an 8-year-old girl suffered a personal injury, unfortunately..

Chief Whitman also said that the officers planned to use a search warrant at the home of Lujan who resides on East Andrews Drive.
Involved in this incident was an 8-year-old girl who was identified as Sierra Moore who was on her way home accompanied by her teenage aunt during the shooting. According to witnesses the girl and her aunt were caught in the middle of gunfire when Moore was shot in the abdomen during the drive by shooting. This drive by shooting occurred in the vicinity of 33rd Ave and Curtis Street.
Moore was transported to Denver Health Medical CTR. and at last report was in serious yet, luckily, stable condition.
The Mayor John Hickenlooper had a meeting with reporters and said he is going to put a stop to the violence that had taken place and the people will not stand it one more day. The will not have a summer of violence according to the mayors statement. By the way if you happen to live in the San Francisco bay are and are in need of a great San Francisco Personal Injury Lawyer
