Boulder Based auto Firm allegedly defrauds employee

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 1:18 am

Just got back from the auto engine repair shop for the struts. On September 3, 2010, Mannes reported Abrams to the Consumer Division of the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office. He had not paid to her back numerous loans– one loan was for $195,804. To get that money, Abrams asked Mannes to take out a new mortgage on her home and sign the money over to him, according to the affidavit.
Additionally, in July 2006, she lent him $8,800 in April 2005 so he could pay off his car. According to the affidavit, it was “because he was going on vacation and needed money.” Abrams even used Mannes’ credit card to spend many thousands of dollars. He swore to pay her back by selling cars and closing other nondescript business deals. If you need a top auto engine repair Boulder firm then I can suggest these guys. They can likewise be of assistance with regards to shocks, suspension, brakes, struts, engine and auto repair overall.
Abrams bought a home at 1613 Marshall Road in unincorporated Boulder County on June 29, 2006 for $235,000. He then sold that property to Mannes a week later for $325,000. He then had her sign a deed to turn the property back over to Abrams. The affidavit alleged that, “No appreciable improvements are believed to have been made to justify the higher price.”
Mannes was employed by Abrams at CarFind USA. She has been using her retirement to stave off foreclosure on the home she lives in, according to the affidavit.
Vanessa Miller also reported that Abrams’ business closed after he was investigated on suspicion of felony fraud and theft in 2006 in connection with CarFind USA. His lost his license to sell used cars because of the “volume of infractions,” the affidavit contended.

History of the Unity Candle Tradition

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 9:16 pm

As I return from Kauai after checking out some vacation rentals there, It is interesting the the origin of the unity candle lighting ceremony is not known. It is relatively new, however, from 30 to 80 years old, if not older. It may usually be readily performed at a Christian ceremony, but not at a catholic wedding. Many priests will not allow the unity candle lighting in the ceremony. The catholic church has not declared that the unity candle ceremony is prohibited. In some individual dioceses the unity candle may be allowed at a reception. As for favorites, there are many and on the whole most scented candles tend to appeal to me. If I may switch gears for a moment, if you happen to be on the island of Kauai, the wonderful garden island and need some kauai vacation rentals help then Bali Hai can help. They have been doing vacation rentals on the island of kauai for a very long time and are quite good indeed. On the whole I have noticed that most of my friends really love square pillar candles as well as scented jar plus soy wax candles, but to each his own, I guess. As I said I am a gel candles type of guy. All in all, the declaration of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops regarding unity candles says that if the unity candle is used, the couple should light their individual candles from the paschal candle, the individual candles should not be extinguished and the unity candle should not be on the altar itself. Much like the one over here on Kauai I must say.
Usually the two tapers are left burning. In some ceremonies the couple may blow out their individual gel candles.

A few more notes about Numbers and Numerology

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 5:08 am

I was choosing some office artwork the other day and it reminded of something, about the office of some Dallas dui lawyers firm that I know.. Some people are fascinated by numbers and numerology. You will see why the office artwork tipped me off to this in a moment if you read the rest oif this blog post. Here is an slightly modified piece of an email that I sent a friend recently who was, like me, quite fascinated by this subject matter: “Alright now I promised to do the numerology on your name. You are a
10 and of course if you reduce the 10 to its smallest number you get 1. This is rather fascinating. First off, here is the definition for the number 10, which is your destiny number. This is a creativity number, the 1(male) plus the 0(female)=creative force and all in all, this particular number gives you the ability to take abstract concepts from your brain and make them a reality in the material world or the physical plain.
So it is a good number, for example, for artists and other creative people (this may explain your office artwork that you make) It can also apply to your work or any endevour you choose. Of course, you should understand that this powerful creative force can be used for both positive and negative ends, so be careful with it, althought I know your main creative outlet is the office artwork.
The 10 is called “The Wheel of Fortune” according to Linda Goodman. This is only symbolism of course. 10 is the symbol of l0ve and l1ght and contains the code:
1mage-0rdain (1-0) or image it, and it shall be and come to pass. Ordain it, and it shall materialize on the physical plane of existence. The ability to manifest creative concepts is inherent in the 10 vibration. There is a warning associated with this number that discipline must precede dominion and you must use your gift with compassion or risk negative Karma.
that is all for now, you also have the 1 personality number. This sort of reminds me of a Dallas DUI lawyers friend of mine and he has some unique art pieces in his place overall. But then again I suppose you earn a lot if you are Dallas DUI lawyers so I suppose it all makes sense if you think about it. I am a little tired of writing so I will send the definion of the number 1 in my next email. Goodman also noted that you also need to analyze how your specific sun sign interacts with this number. For example, Leo, being a sun sign, harmonizes very well with the 10 since it breaks down to 1, and 1 vibrates to the sun.

Numerology, Office Artwork and other Misc. Subjects

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 2:50 am

I just got back from Hawaii, checking out some real estate over on Oahu and it is quite high still, which was a surprise for me overall. staying in some vacation rentals and was cleaning out my office the other day and adding some cool office artwork and then I got on the office computer. I recalled an email I sent to a friend, who is an 8. Here is an excerpt from it: “
8 vibrates to the planet Saturn…in the Hebrew-Chaldean texts, 8 represents wisdom and learning through experience, stability, patience and responsibility. 8 is also the number of caution, restriction, self discipline and also self control. 8 people may have poor health in childhood but tend to grow stronger as they reach maturity. 8 people are willing to wait for their plans to bear fruit and use their waiting time wisely. It is rare to find an 8 person wasting time. They have a strong sense of duty and responsibility.
They have a strong sense of humor, but it is usually subtle. 8 people hate when they appear weak and do not like other people to
think of them in any way weak. This may partially explain your distinct choices in various office artwork and may also explain your profession in Oahu Real estate and the like. You need this type of thing for real estate, I believe, especially over on Oahu. Most 8 people have very DEEP and INTENSE natures.
They often play a major role in life’s drama, and many times are the instrument of fate for other people.
There is a tendency toward fanaticism in religion. 8 people make good friends but terrible enemies.
8 people are often shy and usually do not like to demonstrate much public affection. They are capable of great sacrifices for an ideal or an ambition. They tend to age very gracefully. 8 people need to learn that the pursuit of happiness is not a sin.
let me know of these traits fit you. Linda Goodman says these traits are also tempered by your
individual sun sign”

All in all, they have found that they really have a great deal in common, such as sharing the same birthday as well as the same taste in unique jewelry. On the whole, the jewelry line in question had made its debut in Asia back on June 28th with the famous singer sending her best wishes by video link, and Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and Carina Lau in attendance at the debut.
The unique jewelry line in Asia is being designed by Celine Dion goes under the name Blue Heart and the collection and contains diamond rings in classic styled settings. Speaking of that, my favorite online jewelry shop is the lazuli Store which features a broad assortment of leather jewelry, artisan jewelry, copper and silver jewelry as well as numerous other types of contemporary jewelry as well such as wood jewelry. There are also other types of pieces such as necklaces that are generally styled and ones with whimsical styles like palm trees filled with diamond chips and heart shaped pedants on chains, starfish shaped earrings of gold necklace, silver and other items in the line. There are earrings that consist of musical notes such as Do, Re, Mi. It is still unclear when the Celine Dion line of jewelry under the name Blue Heart will make its debut in Europe or the United States, but is said to be attracting much attention in Asia.

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 7:37 pm

The Holton Arms School that is a 108-year-old school in Bethesda Maryland is beginning an Online School tailored to girls learning this fall. The school believes that girls will benefit from the curriculum that is tailored to fit them together with online learning.
It is sort of like an online version of boarding schools for teens, except that the said teens in this case are not really troubled. According to Brad Bathgerber the director of technology at Holton Arms stated there has been research done that shows how girls learn differently than boys. Bathgerber went on to state this is something they are going to try online and there are four schools collaborating that will allow the four schools to participate in the online learning. The Holton Arms, Harpheth Hall in Nashville, Tennesee,  Westover School in Middlebury, Connecticut, plus even Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio will all be a part of this online program. By the way, take a look at St. Pauls Academy if you are searching for a troubled teens type of school and for more internet news try the Technology News blog or a teen drug treatment boarding schools. They can also help for learning disabilities boarding schools and Private schools placement as well.
The classes will be open to the public within a year and they are hoping to attract home schooled students, and girls attending coed schools.

Beads Taking Jewelry World By Storm

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 7:35 pm

One of the latest jewelry lines to hit the women’s market by storm is the jewelry made from recycled paper, by an organization that is helping women in Africa and Uganda make beaded necklaces and bracelets. You have probably heard of this if you follow the news closely. many celebrities are also jumping on this particular bandwagon, apparently. Needless to say, a lot of famous people use breast enlargement or enhancement in order to decorate themselves. After all, having breast implants or perhaps augmentation done also can bring some other beenfits as well to the party. Some fringe benefits, you might say which can spill over (no pun intended) into their personal lives in a positive manner overall. Private parties, like many of the other items sold including Avon, and Tupperware, sell these jewelry items. The money benefits the impoverished women in these areas to be able to afford food, medicine, school fees and other items.
The organization and the handmade jewelry is, all in all here, very contemporary and has recently been seen on morning news shows and to throw one of these parties everything necessary is mailed to the woman that intends to throw a party. The return mail packaging for unsold jewelry items and envelope for mailing the profits from the sold jewelry. There is also a DVD and CD included that explains the organization, tells about the women that make the jewelry and how to help their mission. It is also possible to shop for this handmade jewelry online at the website for the organization, with the profits going to help the women and the community where they live. I don’t know, I still like the breast enlargement or implants idea better I think.

Is Vintage Jewelry starting to make a comeback?

Filed under: General News — vtpeertopeer @ 6:10 am

Vintage Jewelry such as that which is found in certain thrift and related consignment or discount shops is apparently beginning to make a big comeback, the gold and silver type of jewelry which is filled with diamonds and stuff like a rayalty watch, freeze watch or an aqua master watch are quite popular today but sometimes the older stuff can look great. Needless to say, it features not just necklaces, yet earrings filled with gems, the ankle bracelet and the pin that has been out of style for a long time.
In a rather odd twist of fate, the vintage jewelry of yesterday has become quite popular and is now showing up in jewelry lines, the elegance that was once worn in everyday necklaces and earrings of gems is back. In fact, it is back at such a rate that vintage stores, thrift stores and other retailers of this jewelry cannot seem to keep up with the demand for it. So whether or not you are looking for a 14k gold necklace, hip hop jewelry, diamond stud earrings, diamond cross or maybe a techno master watch, there is some bling bling out there for you to choose from overall, so do check it out.
All in all, the designers lines that are taken back to an age when jewelry was elegant and filled with shining stones, both real and what was known as paste is beginning to show up at store jewelry counters. The prices can range from under twenty to over one thousand depending on the quality of the stones and gold or silver that is in the jewelry pieces.
